I hear this all the time. "You would think differently if your kid got shot". No, no I wouldn't because I understand something they apparently don't. It's not the firearm, it's the monster behind that or ANY inanimate object used to kill another person. I didn't blame serrated knives for almost killing my sister. I blamed the monster committing the atrocious crime. In schools, I blame the lack of security for the children there. The way to stop that armed person or a person using another object to harm people is to have an equal or greater force. A firearm is that tool. My kids would be better protected if schools had more armed personnel. #selfdefense #selfdefenseisahumanright #guns #gunsense #safety
