Take your safety seriously, you only have ONE life!

Take your safety seriously, you only have ONE life!

I LOVE seeing the growth of women taking their safety seriously! I'm not in love with my firearms (as antis say we are, even though I enjoy them thoroughly!) I love life and value the sanctity of it. You get ONE life, and while we aren't guaranteed living longer or surviving anything just because we have a firearm, it may be that ONE thing that save's my life, my child's life, my sister's or brothers life a friends life, a complete strangers life or one who hates me because of who I vote for or what I believe.

When you see what a violent evil individual can physically do to someone close to you, it changes you. You don't stop thinking about it. You have nightmares and play what-ifs constantly. You have different talks with your kids. You cry at random moments when it pops into your head while doing random daily tasks. Above all, it makes you angry at narcissistic politicians who want to strip you of a tool that could very well equalize you if you have to fight for your life.
When you physically see and feel the scars of a victim, knowing you helped clean those wounds days after someone tried to take that person from you, there's no going back to the lax person before the attack. Take your safety seriously. Be prepared, carry medical, don't keep your head in the sand. Don't ridicule women who want to take their personal safety seriously. You don't know what a seemingly normal Saturday will bring. You could very well be doing a normal task and find yourself fighting for your life. How prepared are you?
