A little over a week ago I received the Lethal Lace LLC's universal concealed carry holster to test out and review. As I have only had this roughly a week, I will be giving you my first impressions on this holster. Upon opening the packaging, I rolled out the holster and laid it flat. The middle of it is solid black, while the edges have lace and it has some elasticity. Perfect balance of functional and feminine in my opinion. I placed my gun, which is a .40 S&W compact into the holster. I then wrapped it around my torso, as I was trying it out for hip carry on this day. It is comfortable to wear and did a good job of supporting my gun. I did notice that for me, wearing sweatpants that there was some slipping, but I also am not a size 2/4 and/or have a six pack/flat stomach. (Kid and all) So it might work for someone who is smaller in size than myself. With a pair of jeans it worked great. Comfortable while I wore it throughout the day. I also tried it back carrying, not something I personally due, while it took a bit for me to get it situated comfortably, once it was, I hardly noticed it was there. I personally wouldn't wear it that way with a larger framed gun.
Overall at this time, I find it to be comfortable to wear and so far a good option. I had no printing issues with it, which was great. This type of holster does present challenges when it comes to re-holstering. However, drawing from the holster presented no problems and in a defensive use situation, you are most likely not going to be re-holstering your firearm.
I am planning on continuing testing it out in various locations that I could use it as well as using different firearms available to me, including a 9mm and a .45ACP 1911. I am curious to see whether or not the elasticity of the holster/band holds out after repetitive/extended use. As well as how it does with different firearms and in different locations. I will be giving my full review within a few weeks, in order to thoroughly test and give a complete and comprehensive review.
