We live about five miles from a Conservation shooting range and Ronda decided she wanted to try and shoot for the very first time. She didn't like my Springer 40 caliber subcompact and tried my 1911 45 and loved it, even tried to talk me out of it lol. I still own that pistol. Today Ronda has just about as many firearms as I do. She found a new love, SHOOTING! She took her hunter safety course about 20 years ago but never did put it to use until I came along (Good Corruption). Ronda now looks forward to any and all hunting seasons and we as a family can enjoy being in the hunting woods together. Her tally thus far many squirrels, one armadillo and several whitetail deer.
Ronda is also a member of many gun sites and is the Missouri State Coordinator for 1 Million Moms Against Gun Control. One of the hardest but most rewarding things we can do as husbands is teach our wives to shoot and hunt. Wives can be the hardest to teach, but it will be worth the time and patience to have your best friend and wife by your side in protection of the family, as well as in the woods hunting. It is so rewarding to see the confidence build in a new shooter/hunter and someone that can protect themselves should the need arise. I should add she is the prettiest hunting partner I've ever had the pleasure to hunt with.
